Jessica Kendall-Bar is giving a presentation at the San Francisco Exploratorium After Dark event on March 16, 2017 at 8:00 PM. This talk is designed for the general public (ages 18+) and is part of a series entitled "Everything Matters: Tales of the Periodic Table." Jessica Kendall-Bar will explain calcium's role in the Ocean's Biological Carbon Pump as well as present data from recent research expeditions in the Pacific Ocean with chief scientist Dr. Jim Bishop.

Jessica Kendall-Bar graduated from the Berkeley Earth & Planetary Science Department December 2015. She was a graduate student instructor for EPS C82 "Oceans" in Fall 2015 and Fall 2016.
