Tuesday, December 5, 2017

Earth and Planetary Science doctorial candidate Kristen Fauria presented her Exit Seminar to the staff, students, and guest of the department on Thursday, November 30.

With a packed house, Kristen was bestowed with numerous honors from her fellow doctorial candidates and faculty advisor Professor Michael Manga-including stories of her unique ability of being able to fix mechanical objects in the field.

Kristen’s seminar topic: “How far, how fast, and how long? Dynamics of pyroclastic density currents and submarine eruptions” was well received by all in attendance.
