AGU's OSPA to EPS Grad Student Yuexin Li

Friday, February 14, 2020

The American Geophysical Union (AGU) has awarded an Outstanding Student Presentation Award (OSPA) to current EPS graduate student, Yuexin Li.  Her presentation was titled “Characterizing creeping faults using InSAR: a case study of the Xianshuihe Fault ”.  For more on the research, see here.

The Outstanding Student Presentation Awards (OSPAs) promote, recognize and reward undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students for quality research in the Earth and space sciences. It is a great honor for young scientists at the beginning of their careers. The process relies entirely on volunteer judges. Typically the top 3-5% of presenters in each Section are awarded an OSPA and all judged students are provided feedback.  Check out the full list of winners from the AGU Fall 2019 Meeting (no login required).

Congratulations, Yuexin!
