WHERE
Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve, Oakland, CA
Meeting place: Sibley Staging Area
WHAT
Connect (in person!) with the Berkeley EPS community and learn from Professor Nicholas Swanson-Hysell, winner of the Noyce Prize for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, and Richard Allen, interim Dean of Mathematical & Physical Sciences, about the local geology. We will go on a short walk in Sibley to observe and discuss the landscape there, which is a field location for Swanson-Hysell's hands-on class Geology 101: Field Geology and Digital Mapping.
We hope to see you there!
Please contact Ryan Guasco, rguasco@berkeley.edu, with any questions.
