EPS mourns the death of geologist Wes Hildreth, our distinguished alumnus and leader in volcanology and petrology.
His creativity, knowledge and influence leaves a lasting legacy within EPS, at the USGS where he worked since 1977, and globally through the beautiful papers he wrote.
