Bio/CV:
I study the spatiotemporal dynamics of paramagnetic species in Earth systems, with a focus on the rhizosphere and post-wildfire landscapes. I develop new methods to observe biogeochemical processes in situ within plant–soil systems. My work combines quantum sensing with nitrogen-vacancy center nanodiamonds, controlled laboratory and microfluidic experiments, and geochemical and geomorphological frameworks to track reactive species such as rare earth elements and environmentally persistent free radicals.
