As a seismologist interested in natural disasters my research includes the determination and interpretation of earth structure using synthesized seismological techniques, the development of an earthquake alarm system (ElarmS), and assessment of natural hazard mitigation strategies in the US. I have also conducted research into verification of the comprehensive test ban treaty. You'll find more information on my homepage, also information for prospective students.
